Welcome to Mahoney Racing  October 17, 2008- Our Racing team lost one of the biggest races yet. It is with great sorrow
that we must announce the loss of Ed 'The Candyman' Mahoney.
He was only 44 and leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Melissa and Nicole.
His love of racing was far greater than anyone could ever imagine. He made his family very proud!! He will be missed by all.
This was Eddie, Pops and I in 2003. One of the many happy years out there
March 11, 2007- It is with great sadness that we must announce the loss of our father, Edward "Pops" Mahoney. He died from complications that can arise from colon surgery. He was the backbone of the team and the patriarch of the Mahoney family. He will be missed by all.
July 8th, 2005 - Two weeks after shocking fans by surviving a trip over the wall "Fast" Eddie comes back with a new car to win the race. This win is dedicated to Helen "Mom" Mahoney who passed away exactly one year earlier. Gone but not forgotten.
